Assistant Manager - Audit & Assurance

We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager to join our growing Audit and Assurance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting in planning audit engagements, including defining objectives and scope.
  • Conducting audit fieldwork, testing controls, and gathering evidence.
  • Directing and supervising audit staff, ensuring effective performance.
  • Serving as a key contact, addressing inquiries, and discussing findings.
  • Reviewing audit workpapers for compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Preparing audit reports and presenting findings to management and clients.
  • Staying updated on auditing standards and providing technical support.
  • Enforcing internal quality control procedures for audit accuracy.
  • Mentoring junior staff and contributing to their training.
  • Staying updated on auditing and financial reporting standards (ISAs and IFRSs) and providing technical support.
  • Assisting in various ad-hoc projects as needed.
 
Candidate Profile 
  • Degree Graduate (2:1 or 7/10 or 3.5/4).
  • ACCA/ACA/CPA member with a minimum of 7 years of total audit experience.
  • Experience with IFRS, Risk management policies, International Code of Ethics and AML procedures
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Greek.
  • Strong business awareness and high ethical standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical judgment skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor others.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and professional skills.
  • Team-oriented with a strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
  • Extensive knowledge and proficiency in auditing software, including Caseware, and excellent knowledge of MS Office programs
