Issuance Of STCW Endorsement

The Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (“STCW”) is a globally recognized certification standard required by all seafarers working on commercial vessels and yachts above 24 meters (79ft) in length.

According to Article 8 of The Merchant Shipping Law 105(I) of 2000, all companies are required to ensure that: 

• Every seafarer assigned to any of its ships holds an appropriate certificate in respect of any function he is to perform on that ship.
• Every seafarer on any of its ships has undergone training holds the relevant certificates and training documentary evidence.
